Did you know the Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbar Did you know the Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara funds the library program at Ridley-Tree Cancer Center? 📚

One of our favorite ways that the Cancer Center's library supports cancer patients is with the free book cart!

Each day, dedicated volunteers wheel the library's book cart through waiting rooms and infusion suites, offering free books, magazines, coloring sheets, and water for patients and visitors to enjoy during their visits.

While we are a separate organization from the Cancer Center, we are proud to financially support the Cancer Center’s library.

A big thank you to everyone that donated books and materials to the library cart and to the wonderful volunteers who keep this resource accessible every day! 💙

After Ellen was successfully treated for breast cancer at the Cancer Center, she wanted to support cancer care in our community.

Since then, Ellen has volunteered every week in the Cancer Foundation’s office supporting our philanthropy team.

Ellen says, “I felt that by being a patient at the Cancer Center and receiving the best care ever, I could give a little back by volunteering my time.” 🎗👏

We are grateful for the hundreds of hours Ellen has donated to the Cancer Foundation to support the patients and programs we serve.
