Mouth sores, infections, and tooth decay are commo Mouth sores, infections, and tooth decay are common side effects of chemotherapy and radiation — yet many patients cannot afford oral healthcare.🦷🎗

That's why the Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara has awarded a $40,000 grant to Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics (SBNC) to support oral healthcare for local cancer patients.

SBNC’s dental health team provides preventative care, treatment of oral complications, and care coordination with oncology providers — ensuring that cost is never a barrier to this essential part of cancer care.
