Annual Events

The Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara hosts three major events annually and is the proud recipient of funds raised by Wrangler and the Ranchero Visitadores for their Tough Enough to Wear Pink ride through Solvang.

All funds raised by Cancer Foundation events stays in Santa Barbara Country for local cancer care. We seek underwriting for all our events, with a goal that 100% of funds raised will go to the cause and not be used for event expenses or overhead.

Rancheros Visitadores Tough Enough to Wear Pink (May): This festive parade through the streets of Solvang raises money for research and support programs for breast cancer patients at Ridley-Tree Cancer Center.

Barbara Ireland Walk for Breast Cancer (March) features 5K, 10K and 15K course options which begin and end at Chase Palm Park in Santa Barbara. Proceeds from this event support breast cancer research, genetic counseling and patient navigation services.

Cancer Center Walk/Run (October): The Cancer Center’s largest annual event. Participants take to the streets of Montecito for the 5K and 10K Cancer Center Walk/Run. All funds generated by this event support local cancer research and support programs. Registration will open in August.
